If time feels like it’s speeding up, almost to warp speed on some days, and stretched to one long day at other times, it’s not an illusion (or maybe it is), time really is presenting a new dimension. Humanity is being tasked to be inclusive of all Sentient Beings and to be diligent and loving in thought, word, and deed. This is not a new concept! It’s been the basis for living since the beginning of time. The Great Awakening!

Here are some astrological happenings in September that support and challenge the changing times. They can best be described by the forecast, by Pam Ciampi from Llewellyn’s 2015 Daily Planetary Guide.

Venus goes direct in Leo on September 6
Mercury turns retrograde in Libra for three weeks on September 17
A Mars Uranus Trine
Pluto turns direct in Capricorn
Jupiter and Neptune in Opposition
Saturn reenters Sagittarius and leaves the deep waters of Scorpio for the next 29 years

Specific to the week of September 21 through 28

“Hopefully you’re someone who likes change, because there’s a lot of it going around this week. First, there’s a very important sign change for the Sun that shifts us from summer to fall. Then Mars enters a new sign and bumps up against Saturn on the same day that Pluto starts moving in a new direction. Finally, the week ends with a bang with a Full Moon Eclipse. The fun starts on Wednesday, September 23, which is flagged as the third seasonal turning point this year. That’s the day the Sun enters Libra and marks the Fall Symbol for Libra Equinox. If the seasonal year were a day, then spring would be at dawn, summer would be at noon, fall would be at sunset, and winter would be at midnight. So this movement marks the sunset point of the year. The fall equinox is the second day of the year that we have equal hours of light and dark. This day of cosmic balance is a reminder to take time out to check your personal balance sheet. Mars enters Virgo on Thursday, September 24…our active energy holds sway over the Virgo realm of daily routines of work, health, self-care, and pets. On Friday, September 25, Mars gets into a conflict with Saturn. With Mars and Saturn in this square-off, all the exits are blocked and it’s definitely not a time to try to solve any problems. This is the second and last time these two planets will bring things to a full stop this year. Later on that same day, Pluto gets into the act as it wakes up out of its five month retrograde period. Despite the Mars/Saturn square-off, Pluto in direct motion signals a slow, unconscious and gradual return to peace and prosperity in personal, economic, and political arenas. The Aries Full Moon on Sunday, September 27, is extra special because it’s a larger-than-life Supermoon as well as a Total Lunar Eclipse. According to astrologer Richard Nolle, this unusual combination of placement and proximity creates two special effects. The first one is that the Moon is at perigee (the point when the moon is nearest to the earth), the gravitational forces can increase by almost 50 percent, which can lead to higher tides and flooding. This eclipse will be visible over Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and parts of the eastern United States, and will have the strongest effect on one-to-one relationships or those with a birthday on the same day. With all these shifts and intense alignments, this is not the best week to schedule an important event.”

We at Divinely One could not have shared this amount of information so succinctly, that’s why we’re big fans of the “Daily Planetary Guide” to follow the incoming energies and how they might impact our daily living. It’s a great way to find when the opportunities are present and when it might be best to find a better time for major decisions. Recently, Thia was asked if she would make a presentation on how to use astrology as a practical tool for daily living. That informative presentation is now in the queue along with other topics that have been brewing for some time. Astrology can be an overwhelming amount of information to integrate; although, it’s not everyone’s purpose to continue to expand this psychospiritual science tool beyond individual personalities. However, it can be very helpful to know enough about your own personal cosmic design, in order to integrate some of the basic aspects and how the current planetary influences are impacting your daily life. There are some very talented and gifted astrologers to help with the more complex interpretations.

In fact there are two specialized astrology consultants, Thia McGinnis and Virginia Somers, at Divinely One who can assist in developing astrology information for both personal and group integration. Thia specializes in bringing forth the spiritual aspects that are entwined within the science of astrology and the intuitive clarification that emerges during an astrology consultation. Thia is a big proponent that astrology is a tool that can bring the Universe into view for all to see and feel! Virginia has forty plus years of astrology training and provides an upfront and personal view of each individual’s aspects and opportunities.

There have been other requests made for specialized educational and spiritual discussions and classes. Sharing information and reaching out to the people who follow the newly developing work of Divinely One. Programs currently being developed include Moon services and meditations, Astrology and daily living, Astrology for the Children, and the integration of the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine within each and all.

The time has come that we take the show on the road, or better said, you can access the material and have a group experience within the comfort of your own home. Divinely One is in the process of creating online discussions, meditations, services, and classes. This is a natural evolutionary step in order to meet the needs of the expanding group of interested people in the topics of Androgyny, Astrology, and Spiritual Awakening. The monthly gatherings here in Asheville, NC have been very rewarding for attendees, and we will continue to host some local events. However, creating an online community through the use of technology for building remote group dynamics is the way of the Aquarian Age. Divinely One wants to get onto the cutting edge…or we wouldn’t be focusing on the true vision for the organization, to inform, respond, and create a community of like minded spiritual sojourners who are willing to help each other and reach out to those who are seeking. The vision of Divinely One is to provide a vessel in which the changing times and expanded consciousness can thrive.

There’s a lot of discussion about “Higher Consciousness”; rightly so since it’s the highlight currently on the horizon. What is consciousness? And how do we know if it’s rising “higher”? The online dictionary defines consciousness as: “awareness of one’s own existence, sensations, thoughts, surroundings, feelings, etc. Higher is defined as, “of great consequence, extending above, considerable reach.” If we consider these characterizations for “Higher Consciousness,” doesn’t it appear that achievement is based on an individual evaluation and not under the scrutiny of judgment or comparison to others? If one chooses to associate with specific groups, then the individuals’ consciousness becomes a facet of the overall consciousness of the group. Group dynamics is the combination of the consciousness of each individual plus the added value (consciousness) created by the group experience. The added value is a reigning factor in the “Age of Aquarius” or the “New Earth,” (whichever term you choose), because there’s never only one right answer! I know that statement is difficult for some of us, however, if we remain open and fluid and let integrity and compassion be our guide, the path to ”Right Relationship” becomes inevitable.
